Golden Needle Black Tea

Golden Needle ( from cultivar 雪芽#100 is a specialty black tea grown in the mountains of Simao, in Puerh, Yunnan, China. A complex cup, this tea has notes of sweetness and spice beneath the malty overtones.  Only the bud shoots from higher elevations are picked.  This particular tea is lightly wilted and processed to keep its delicate taste and appearance intact.

Due to the nature of this tea,
Steep for 4 minutes  at 205F
1 teaspoon (or generous pinch) per 8-ounces of water
