Grown in Sri Lanka, Ceylon tea bears the name its country held until 1972.  The country is located off the southern tip of India.  A high quality black tea, Ceylon has a notable crisp aroma and a dark strong body.

Our Ceylon tea is Broken Orange Pekoe (BOP), the primary broken leaf grade, which is prevalent in Sri Lanka, produces consistent flavor, and balances taste and potency. With a natural hint of citrus, Ceylon tea is a superb every day tea.

Steep this tea for 3-5 minutes with water just below the boiling point.
